Scary Times Ahead

There has been a terrible turn of events over the last 48 hours. I have discovered that I no longer enjoy writing papers. I am proficient enough in the tasks. I should find them at least mildly entertaining to write. However, I am enjoying them less and less, with each passing paper. Now, this doesn’t mean I am no longer enjoying writing. I may not be getting any better at it, but I still love it. But papers are a horse of another colour. Or a dolphin of another colour, for that matter.

Yesterday, I was blessed by the sudden arrival of mom and dad to my small, humble abode. While they were only able to stay for a few hours, it was still wonderful to be able to see them.
