Yesterday, my own copy of Ken Burns’ groundbreaking documentary, “The War” arrived in the mail. This documentary, over 14 hours long, depicts the realities of world war two in a completely new and startling light. Although i have only watched the first two hours, already i can sense that this is a documentary for the ages.
